The NetBackup 2.6.x Appliances: Configuration and Management course consists of a course introduction and seven (7) lessons that describe the administration, configuration and management of the 2.6.1 release of the NetBackup 5230 and 5330 appliances. It also consists of fourteen (14) demonstrations that are intended to enhance the content contained in the lessons.

The NetBackup 8.0: Advanced Administration course provides the IT professional with instruction on advanced NetBackup 8.0 software functionality and administrative tasks. This course covers advanced NetBackup topics, including NetBackup performance, disaster recovery, application backups on physical and virtual machines, virtual machine accelerator backups, and security. This course also covers using NetBackup to manage Oracle, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft SharePoint database backups.
The NetBackup Maintenance and Troubleshooting course provides the IT professional with instruction on troubleshooting NetBackup 8.0 software. This course covers general error detection tools and troubleshooting methodologies. Students practice solving problems related to the NetBackup database, devices, media, disk, deduplication, networking, backups, and restores. In addition, students study the functions of key NetBackup processes and how to enable, view, and manage the associated logs.
