CS-SASAA – Implementing Advanced Cisco ASA Security

This course provides updated training on the key features of the Cisco ASA, including the ASA FirePOWER Services Module and ASA Clustering.
The main changes in SASAA v2.0 compared to SASAA v1.2 include updating the ASA release to 9.4.1. Added new content in the student guide and a new lab to cover some of the new ASA 9.3 and 9.4.1 features, and added content in the student guide on the new ASA 5506-X, 5508-X, and 5516-X. Also made few minor edits in the other modules. The ASA FirePower Services Module coverage is still based on the FirePOWER 5.3.1 software version in SASAA v2.0. The optional modules, like the end of life ASA CX, has been removed in SASAA v2.0.

CS-SASAC v1.0 – Implementing Core Cisco ASA Security

Cisco ASA Core v1.0 is a new 5-day ILT class that: -Covers the Cisco ASA 9.0 / 9.1 core firewall and VPN features -Offers hands-on labs Cisco ASA Core v1.0 is designed to teach network security engineers working on the Cisco ASA Adaptive Security Appliance to implement core Cisco ASA features, including the new ASA 9.0 and 9.1 features.

CS-SISE 2.1 – Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine 2.1

Implementing and Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engine (SISE) v1.3 is a 5-day ILT training program designed for ATP partner systems and field engineers, consulting systems engineers, technical solutions architects, and Cisco integrators who install and implement the Cisco Identity Service Engine version 1.3. The course covers the key components and procedures needed to install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot the Cisco Identity Services Engine version 1.3.

This course is primarily a Cisco ATP Partner training replacement course for Implementing and Configuring the Cisco Identity Services Engine (SISE) v1.1.

CS-SSFIPS – Securing Cisco Networks with Sourcefire Intrusion Prevention System

Securing Cisco Networks with Cisco FireSIGHT Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is an instructor-led, lab-intensive, course that introduces students to the powerful features of the Cisco FireSIGHT system, in-depth event analysis, IPS tuning and configuration, and the SNORT rules language.

You will learn how to use and configure next-generation Cisco IPS technology, including application control, firewall, and routing and switching capabilities. You will also learn to properly tune systems for better performance and greater network intelligence while taking full advantage of powerful tools for more efficient event analysis, including file type and network-based malware detection.

This course combines lecture materials and hands-on labs throughout to make sure you are able to successfully deploy and manage the Cisco FireSIGHT system. This course prepares you to take the Securing Cisco Networks with FireSIGHT IPS exam (exam ID 500-285).

CS-CCNA-Sec – CCNA Security Boot Camp: Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS)

Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) validates associate-level knowledge and skills required to secure Cisco networks. With a CCNA Security certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats. The CCNA Security curriculum emphasizes core security technologies, the installation, troubleshooting and monitoring of network devices to maintain integrity, confidentiality and availability of data and devices, and competency in the technologies that Cisco uses in its security structure.

The CCNA Security certification is part of the DOD 8570 directive.

CS-IINS – Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS)

Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security (IINS) is a 5-day instructor-led course that is presented by Cisco Training Partners to end users and channel partner customers. The content focuses on the design, implementation, and monitoring of a comprehensive security policy, using Cisco IOS security features and technologies as examples. The course covers security controls of Cisco IOS devices as well as a functional introduction to the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA). Using instructor-led discussion, lecture, and hands-on lab exercises, this course allows learners to perform basic tasks to secure a small branch office network using Cisco IOS security features available through web-based GUIs (Cisco Configuration Professional) and the CLI on Cisco routers, switches, and ASAs.

This course is based on the ASA 8.4 code.
